Founding Miner terms
Last updated: 22 October 2026. Version 2.0. Founding Miners, Season 1.
These terms are an agreement between you and Extra Watts B.V. (Herengracht 420, 1017 BZ Amsterdam, Netherlands; KvK 75938650), which runs Peryn. They add to our terms of service and our acceptable use policy. Version 2.0 replaces version 1.0 of 13 October 2026.
1. Who
- A Peryn account becomes a Founding Miner of Season 1 when it claims the Founding Miner badge in the miner portal.
- Claims close at Pearl's FP8 upgrade block: the first block at Pearl's FP8 upgrade height, at the time in its header as our pool records it. Only accounts created before that time can claim, and no claim counts at or after it.
- We open and close claims and may cap the number of Founding Miners. The miner portal says when claims are open.
- Accounts that we, our staff or our own GPUs use do not qualify.
2. Verified addresses
- A Founding Miner adds the $PEARL addresses it mines to and proves each one with a message signed by that address's own key.
- One account may sponsor up to 10 addresses, each verified by its own key.
- An address belongs to one account at a time. You can remove your own address at any time.
3. Fees
- On a verified address: 0% on PPLNS and 1% on FPPS, from verification until six calendar months after the upgrade block's time.
- After that, the standard fees apply: 1% on PPLNS and 2% on FPPS (terms of service, section 12.4).
- The fee follows the time of each block (PPLNS) and crediting period (FPPS), as our pool records it.
4. Badge
- The Founding Miner badge, Season 1, is permanent. It stays on your account and on the public page of your verified addresses.
- The badge has no cash value and gives no other right.
5. No stacking
- Founding Miner terms don't combine with cloud partner rates. On fleet work under a partner agreement, the partner rate applies.
6. Everything else
- Pool rules and payouts are as in the terms of service, section 12.
- We may update these terms with notice in the miner portal, but never retroactively for periods already earned.
- Section 17 of the terms of service (law and disputes) applies to these terms.
- Questions about these terms: legal@peryn.ai. Everything else: hello@peryn.ai.
